About the Role
Join the Dangote Group, Africa's leading diversified business conglomerate, as our new Regional Finance Manager based in Lagos, Nigeria. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee financial planning, control, reporting, and risk management across the region, ensuring optimal financial performance and strict adherence to corporate strategy and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage regional budgets, forecasts, and financial models while delivering actionable variance analysis.
- Oversee accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in full compliance with IFRS and company policies.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives by closely monitoring production, operating costs, and key cost drivers such as energy and logistics.
- Ensure robust compliance with tax laws, regulatory requirements, and internal audit processes.
- Manage working capital, liquidity, and treasury oversight to support efficient regional capital allocation.
- Partner closely with plant managers and regional leadership to provide strategic financial insights for commercial decisions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing regional finance teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- Mandatory professional certification including ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience with a strong background in manufacturing, heavy industry, or cement operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in multi-plant or regional financial management and cost accounting.
