We are currently recruiting a polished and welcoming Hostess for our prestigious fine dining restaurant client in Nigeria. In this role, you will serve as the crucial first point of contact for guests, responsible for delivering a warm welcome, efficient seating, and seamless reservation management that reflects our luxury standards.
Key Responsibilities- Warmly greet, register, and escort guests to their tables with exceptional etiquette.
- Manage the digital reservation system, waitlists, and strategic table allocations efficiently.
- Handle telephone and walk-in reservation enquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Coordinate closely with the floor servers regarding table readiness, pacing, and turnover.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and presentation standards at the entrance and waiting areas.
- Assist management with arrangements for VIPs, special occasions, and private events.
- Communicate guest preferences, allergies, and special requests promptly to the service team.
- Minimum of SSCE or OND qualification from a recognized institution.
- Prior experience in a hospitality, customer service, or guest-facing role is required.
- Previous working experience in a fine dining establishment is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in using reservation management software and basic hospitality protocols.
- Possess a warm, professional demeanor with excellent verbal communication skills.
