About the Role
Elysium Lagos is a premier fine dining establishment located in the heart of Lekki Phase One, Lagos. Housing a vibrant cafe, lounge, garden restaurant, and fine dining section, we recreate the magic of nature and serenity while serving meals that soothe and rejuvenate. As we expand our hospitality family, we are looking for a dedicated Host or Hostess to be the welcoming face of our establishment, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable dining experience from the moment they arrive.
Key Responsibilities- Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, setting a welcoming tone for their dining experience.
- Manage reservations, seating charts, and waitlists efficiently to optimize restaurant flow and table turnover.
- Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and introduce them to their servers.
- Coordinate seamlessly with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to accommodate special guest requests and dietary needs.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with grace, poise, and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Maintain a pristine, organized, and welcoming reception area at all times.
- Relevant educational qualifications and proven hospitality experience in a high-end restaurant or luxury setting.
- Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, professional presentation.
- Ability to remain calm, composed, and efficient in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
