We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Hospital Cook to join our dedicated dietary team in delivering exceptional nutritional care to our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare nutritious, wholesome, and hygienic meals for patients and staff daily.
- Strictly follow prescribed patient dietary requirements, clinical restrictions, and special meal instructions.
- Maintain exceptionally high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and overall kitchen sanitation.
- Properly store, handle, and rotate food items to prevent contamination, spoilage, and wastage.
- Monitor daily kitchen supplies, inventory levels, and report shortages promptly to management.
- Ensure the absolute cleanliness and proper maintenance of all kitchen equipment and designated work areas.
- Comply fully with all hospital food safety regulations, dietary protocols, and infection prevention guidelines.
- Minimum of SSCE or OND, or a relevant professional catering qualification.
- Proven previous experience as a cook, preferably within a hospital, healthcare facility, reputable hotel, or institutional kitchen.
- Strong working knowledge of food hygiene, safety practices, and sanitation standards.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare a diverse variety of local Nigerian and continental meals.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, multi-task, and follow precise instructions.
