Lagos Executive Cardiovascular Centre is a premier multidisciplinary cardiovascular facility dedicated to advanced heart care, and we are currently seeking a meticulous and experienced Hospital Accountant to drive our financial operations. In this vital role, you will ensure rigorous financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and seamless fiscal management within our specialized healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial transactions, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements alongside comprehensive budget variance analyses
- Process payroll, employee benefits, and oversee inventory accounting for specialized medical supplies and equipment
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian accounting standards, tax regulations, and healthcare industry requirements
- Maintain precise patient billing records, coordinate insurance claims, and liaise seamlessly with external auditors
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with an active ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional accounting experience, with a strong preference for background in hospital or healthcare settings
- Demonstrated proficiency in modern accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and electronic healthcare management systems
