About the Role
Racham Empowerment and Humanitarian Foundation (REHF) is a faith-inspired non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering orphans, vulnerable children, and widows across Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Manager to oversee our residential facility located at the Racham Orphanage Premises in Azhi-Bisa, Tafa LGA, Niger State. In this vital leadership role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and structured environment where children can thrive, learn, and develop to their fullest potential.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily operations and administration of the residential children's home.
- Supervise caregivers, support personnel, and residential staff to ensure high standards of care.
- Implement and strictly enforce robust child safeguarding and protection policies.
- Oversee children's holistic welfare, including healthcare, nutritional meal planning, hygiene, and educational support.
- Mentor residents, fostering a positive, inclusive, and emotionally supportive home environment.
- Maintain accurate records and coordinate with foundation leadership to ensure accountability and resource efficiency.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience, specifically managing an orphanage or residential children's home.
- Proven knowledge and practical application of child safeguarding, rights, and protection standards.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising, training, and motivating residential support staff.
- Strong leadership abilities, absolute integrity, exceptional patience, and deep compassion for vulnerable populations.
- Willingness to reside full-time within the orphanage environment in Azhi-Bisa, Tafa LGA, Niger State.
- Fluency in English with the ability to provide verifiable professional references.
