About the Role
Wego Inspect provides structured, evidence-based residential property inspection reports that help renters and buyers make informed decisions before they commit to a property. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Home Inspector to join our growing team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in bringing transparency and peace of mind to the Nigerian real estate market by evaluating residential properties and documenting their exact conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough residential property inspections across designated areas in Lagos, with a focus on delivering objective and accurate assessments.
- Assess visible property conditions systematically using Wego Inspect checklists and standardized evaluation procedures.
- Capture clear, high-quality photographs, videos, and detailed written observations of all inspected spaces.
- Document visible structural defects, maintenance issues, and safety concerns accurately and transparently.
- Submit complete, high-quality inspection reports within designated turnaround times.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with occupants, real estate agents, landlords, and property representatives on-site.
- Possess a relevant degree or HND in construction, architecture, building technology, civil engineering, estate management, quantity surveying, or a related field.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills for clear report generation.
- Own a smartphone with a reliable, high-resolution camera and have comfortable access to digital tools and mobile applications.
- Possess strong familiarity with the Lagos real estate landscape, particularly Lekki, Victoria Island, and surrounding neighborhoods.
- Willingness to successfully complete Wego Inspect's comprehensive training and assessment process prior to full deployment.
