Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement an engaging Home Economics curriculum blending British standards with local Nigerian culture.
- Teach practical skills including cooking, nutrition, sewing, textile work, and household management.
- Incorporate financial literacy, budgeting, and consumer education into daily lessons.
- Manage classroom activities and maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment in cooking and sewing labs.
- Assess student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in parent-teacher conferences, extracurricular activities, and school events.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Home Economics, or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification or license with a strong understanding of the Nigerian educational system.
- Proven experience teaching Home Economics or related subjects in a reputable institution.
