Key Responsibilities- Teach Home Economics across various grade levels using both the NERDC and British curricula.
- Plan and deliver engaging, interactive lessons covering nutrition, food and nutrition, clothing and textiles, and home management.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic and personal growth.
- Incorporate Islamic values, ethics, and positive discipline into daily classroom management and interactions.
- Manage laboratory and classroom resources safely and efficiently for practical cooking and sewing sessions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to organize school events, extracurricular activities, and curriculum development initiatives.
- Maintain open and professional communication with parents regarding student performance and well-being.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Home Economics Education, Food Science, or a related field.
- Proven teaching experience within a reputable primary or secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with both Nigerian and British educational curricula.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
