About the Role

We are currently expanding our academic faculty and inviting passionate, qualified professionals to join us as a Senior Lecturer in Natural and Environmental Sciences at our Abuja campus. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Natural and Environmental Sciences to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop, update, and review curriculum content to align with global academic standards and industry trends.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Conduct high-impact, functional research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate actively in departmental administration, curriculum development, and university committees.
- Mentor and advise students on academic progress, career pathways, and entrepreneurial opportunities.
- Engage in community service and institutional advancement initiatives that promote the university's mission.
- Must hold a PhD in Natural Sciences, Environmental Sciences, or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Minimum of 6 years of cognate teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution, or at least 3 years in the rank of Lecturer I or equivalent.
- A strong publication record with a minimum of 8 quality publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Demonstrated ability to teach effectively, supervise research, and attract research grants.
