Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a classroom environment that fosters engagement, curiosity, and respect.
- Identify and adopt the most effective teaching approaches to cater to diverse student learning needs.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective sequences of engaging history lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
- Monitor teaching and learning activities to ensure students achieve continuous academic progress.
- Identify and teach skills that develop students' ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
- Lead specific subject areas within the School Improvement Plan to guarantee measurable progress.
- Accurately assess and report student progress to school administration and parents.
- Minimum of a B.Ed, B.Sc (Ed), B.A (Ed), or equivalent education degree.
- Mandatory completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
- Possession of a P.G.D.E and T.R.C.N certification will be a strong added advantage.
- At least one year of proven teaching experience in a reputable school.
- Fluent in English or French (written and spoken) with excellent communication skills.
- Conversant with 21st-century ICT tools and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
