About the Role
The Federal University of Allied Health Sciences, Enugu (FUAHSE), recently established on March 14, 2024, is rapidly growing to become a premier institution dedicated to advancing healthcare education and manpower development in Nigeria. As we expand our administrative capacity across our six faculties and 17 departments, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our internal operations as a Higher Stock Verifier. In this vital role, you will help maintain operational efficiency, transparency, and accountability in our inventory and asset management systems, directly supporting our mission to train innovative healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular and surprise physical stock verification exercises across various university stores and departments.
- Reconcile physical inventory counts with ledger balances and financial records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of all university supplies, equipment, and assets.
- Prepare comprehensive stock report audits for management review and compliance purposes.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages, shrinkage, or obsolescence of university materials.
- Ensure adherence to institutional procurement and inventory control policies and guidelines.
- Applicants must possess a relevant Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Purchasing and Supply, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Professional certification in stock verification, auditing, or supply chain management will be an added advantage.
