About the Role
Sun King is the world's largest off-grid solar energy provider, dedicated to powering bright lives for the 1.8 billion people globally who lack reliable electricity. We are currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Store Executive to join our growing team in Edo, Nigeria. In this vital role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, managing inventory, executing basic product repairs, and ensuring every customer receives top-tier service.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, track, and manage inventory from the warehouse, issuing stock strictly according to FIFO standards.
- Maintain updated online logs for Goods Received and Goods Issued alongside daily cycle counts and monthly stock takes.
- Handle spare parts inventory, re-orders, and manage faulty stock consolidation for proper disposal.
- Prepare accurate daily stock-on-hand reports and document items issued for replacement or replenishment.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and repairs on in-warranty returns while maintaining custody of repair tools.
- Ensure the store environment, shop floor SKU arrangement, and repair workbench remain clean, tidy, and safe.
- Welcome walk-in customers, handle technical queries, verify warranty eligibility, and coordinate with Energy Officers and the call center.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in inventory management, storekeeping, or a related role.
- Strong computer literacy, including working proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-first mindset.
- High levels of integrity, flexibility, and a proactive, positive attitude.
- Familiarity with Sun King products and deep local territory knowledge in Edo will be distinct advantages.
