About the Role
The Federal University of Allied Health Sciences, Enugu (FUAHSE) is a newly established institution dedicated to transforming healthcare education and manpower development in Nigeria. Following our transition from the Federal College of Dental Technology and Therapy, we now encompass six faculties and seventeen departments. We are currently seeking a meticulous and skilled Higher Data Processing Officer to join our administrative team and manage vital institutional data systems that support our mission of training innovative healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the accurate collection, entry, and processing of student, staff, and academic data within the university database systems.
- Maintain data integrity and security protocols to protect sensitive institutional and student records.
- Generate comprehensive statistical reports and data analytics to support administrative decision-making and academic planning.
- Collaborate with various university departments and faculties to streamline data collection workflows and resolve discrepancies.
- Perform regular data backups, system audits, and troubleshooting to ensure uninterrupted digital operations.
- Train and guide junior data entry personnel on best practices, data governance policies, and university software standards.
- Possession of a relevant Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Data Management, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated professional experience in data processing, database administration, or records management, preferably within a tertiary institution or large organization.
- Exceptional competence, high level of integrity, and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
