Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical training in Health Information Management and related courses to undergraduate students.
- Develop, update, and review curriculum content, lesson plans, and instructional materials in line with current educational and industry standards.
- Assess student performance through examinations, quizzes, assignments, and practical evaluations, providing constructive feedback.
- Mentor and advise students on academic progression, career pathways, and professional development within the health sector.
- Conduct relevant research and participate in departmental, faculty, and institutional meetings, committees, and community service initiatives.
- Leverage Information and Communications Technology (ICT) tools to enhance teaching, learning, and academic research outcomes.
- Possess a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Health Information Management or a closely related academic field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of cognate teaching or lecturing experience within a tertiary or higher education institution.
- Must hold a valid professional registration and active practicing license with the relevant regulatory body.
- Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing ICT for modern teaching methodologies, e-learning platforms, and academic research.
