About the Role

The Dangote Group is seeking a strategic and experienced Head, Talent Management to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal management role, you will guide talent operations for DPL Limited across our major plant locations in Ibese, Ogun State, and Obajana, Kogi State. You will champion an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes quality, productivity, and goal attainment while spearheading robust recruitment, performance management, and succession planning frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with overall business objectives and company initiatives.
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment and selection processes, ensuring top-tier talent acquisition for high-volume operational needs.
  • Lead talent management and succession planning frameworks, including performance appraisals, potential management, and resource planning.
  • Design and implement continuous improvement programs, performance improvement initiatives, and change management strategies.
  • Ensure legal compliance and maintain meticulous documentation of HR policies, procedures, employment contracts, and employee records.
  • Generate accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly HR reports and analytics to support executive decision-making.

Qualifications
  • First degree in Business Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Master’s degree or MBA specializing in Human Resources Management.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience at a managerial grade, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing sectors.
  • Mandatory active membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPMN).
  • Proven expertise in talent management, succession planning, HR information systems (SAP HCM, SuccessFactors), and employment law.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.
