About the Role
FoodCo Limited is a leading diversified consumer goods company with interests in retail, fast food, entertainment, and manufacturing, headquartered in Ibadan, Nigeria. We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Head of Strategy and Growth to lead our internal strategy office and venture incubation engine, translating long-term vision into scalable business models.
Key Responsibilities- Partner directly with the CEO to translate FoodCo's long-term vision into enterprise strategic priorities and actionable initiatives.
- Identify new revenue streams, customer propositions, and business model innovations through market analysis and competitive intelligence.
- Design and execute rapid commercial experiments, minimum viable business models (MVBs), and pilot programs to validate strategic hypotheses.
- Lead multidisciplinary cross-functional teams across Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless strategic execution.
- Package validated initiatives with robust operating models, financial assumptions, and risk assessments for enterprise-wide deployment via the Chief Transformation Officer.
- Prepare Board-quality strategy papers, business cases, executive presentations, and enterprise dashboards to track performance against key strategic KPIs.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Strategy, or a related discipline; an MBA from a reputable institution is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 8 to 12 years of progressive experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, business transformation, corporate development, or strategic planning.
- Demonstrated expertise in business model innovation, financial modeling, agile delivery, venture incubation, and structured problem-solving.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills with a proven ability to influence senior leadership in ambiguous environments.
