About the Role
Unified Payment Services Limited is Nigeria’s premier Payments & Financial Technology company, operating as a vital shared infrastructure for the banking community. We are looking for a strategic and analytical Head, Revenue Assurance to drive our financial control frameworks, identify revenue leakages, and ensure absolute accuracy in our billing, clearing, and settlement processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute comprehensive audits and reviews focused on revenue generation, recognition, billing, and collection processes.
- Verify completeness and accuracy of files generated for local, secondary, and international scheme settlements.
- Conduct quality checks to prevent duplicate or incomplete submissions of clearing files within defined time windows.
- Automate revenue assurance review processes to improve speed, audit coverage, and overall data accuracy.
- Develop and maintain a robust, risk-based revenue audit plan aligned with organizational priorities.
- Evaluate internal controls, identify revenue leakages and process inefficiencies, and monitor corrective actions.
- Ensure full compliance with internal revenue policies, IFRS, GAAP, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Operations teams to review billing systems, ERPs, and POS platforms for data integrity.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Mandatory professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CISA, CIA, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in audit leadership focusing on revenue assurance or financial controls.
- Prior working experience in banking, fintech, telecommunications, or large corporate audit environments.
- Strong command of data analytics and audit tools including ACL, IDEA, Power BI, and SQL.
