About the Role
Proforce Limited is a global leader in defence solutions, specializing in the manufacturing of armoured vehicles and personal protection systems. We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Internal Audit Manager to join our team in Ode-Remo, Ogun State. In this pivotal role, you will provide independent assurance on the effectiveness of our internal controls, financial processes, and operational procedures while safeguarding company assets against risks.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive annual internal audit plans aligned with organizational risks and strategic business priorities.
- Review diverse operational processes including procurement, inventory, payroll, production, and maintenance to evaluate internal control adequacy.
- Conduct thorough financial audits, investigations, stock counts, and process reviews as directed by management.
- Identify control weaknesses, fraud risks, and compliance gaps, providing actionable recommendations for prompt remediation.
- Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risk assessments, and management responses for executive review.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Human Resources, Production, and Procurement to reinforce governance and operational efficiency.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of internal audit team members to foster professional growth.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Recognized professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIA is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant internal audit experience, ideally within the manufacturing, automotive, or engineering sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in internal control frameworks, enterprise risk management, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analytics tools, and enterprise resource planning software.
