About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitising Africa’s real economy by building a comprehensive financial ecosystem for businesses. We are currently looking for a strategic and results-driven Head, POS Recovery to lead our POS Channel department in Nigeria, reporting directly to the VP, POS Channel.
Key Responsibilities- Own the end-to-end terminal recovery lifecycle, establishing robust escalation speeds, settlement windows, and asset return processes.
- Lead, manage, and scale a distributed field recovery team across multiple regions in Nigeria while maintaining high ethical standards.
- Develop and implement comprehensive standard operating procedures for BRM-led recovery, external agency coordination, and dispute handling.
- Track and optimize core recovery KPIs, including pre-and-post write-off recovery rates, average days to recovery, and cost per recovery.
- Ensure recovery operations remain strictly self-funding by keeping total bounty and logistics expenditure well below terminal recovery value.
- Generate transparent monthly reports detailing net financial impact, bounty spend, dispute volumes, and overall recovery efficiency.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in large-scale field operations, logistics, asset recovery, or after-sales service, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven expertise managing distributed field teams and third-party contractors across the Nigerian market.
- Strong financial acumen with a track record of managing budgets, unit economics, and cost-effective operations.
- Exceptional analytical and technical skills, including familiarity with CRM tools, GPS tracking systems, and route optimization platforms.
- Deep understanding of regulatory compliance, insurance claim processes, and asset write-off accounting in Nigeria.
