About the Role

Mastercard is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head, Office of the CPCO to join our team in Nigeria. This critical leadership role combines strategic advisory support with high-level executive coordination to ensure the seamless functioning of the Chief People and Culture Officer's office. You will drive strategic priorities, manage complex operations, and act as a trusted advisor, enabling effective internal and external engagement across a global matrixed organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner directly with the CPCO to track and drive progress on strategic priorities, leadership commitments, and key People and Culture initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough research, synthesize information, and provide actionable insights to support executive decision-making.
  • Prepare high-quality briefing materials, presentations, talking points, and reports for Board and executive-level engagements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts, ensure organizational alignment, and drive accountability across the People and Culture Leadership Team.
  • Oversee daily office operations, act as a primary liaison with senior stakeholders, and manage sensitive matters with absolute discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Project Management Institute (PMI) certification is strongly preferred.
  • Active membership in relevant professional bodies.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience supporting C-suite executives within complex, matrixed corporate environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, project management, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence, communication, and stakeholder management skills with unwavering integrity.
