About the Role
Tokiye Integrated Medical Services is dedicated to addressing critical healthcare project management needs in Nigeria with a strong commitment to international standards of excellence. We are seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Treasury to join our dynamic team on a full-time, on-site basis in Lagos State, with regular presence in Port Harcourt. In this pivotal role, you will oversee liquidity management, optimize surplus fund deployment, drive money market activities, and cultivate robust institutional banking relationships to support our overarching business and financial goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive treasury strategies aligned with approved business plans and ALCO directives.
- Monitor daily liquidity positions, cash flow profiles, and funding requirements while maintaining strict regulatory compliance.
- Originate, price, and negotiate money market placements and permissible investments with authorized counterparties.
- Manage asset-liability maturity profiles to identify and mitigate potential liquidity mismatches.
- Ensure robust treasury governance, maintaining clear segregation between dealing, approval, confirmation, and settlement functions.
- Prepare insightful treasury reports, market updates, and liquidity analyses for management and ALCO.
- Supervise treasury back-office activities and foster cross-functional collaboration with finance, risk, and operations teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; relevant professional certifications like CFA, ACA, ACCA, or CIBN are highly advantageous.
- Postgraduate qualifications such as an MBA or MSc will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 8 years specifically in bank treasury, money markets, or investment management.
- Demonstrated expertise in liquidity risk management, hedging strategies, and institutional relationship building.
