About the Role
Johnvents Foods Limited launched Johnvents Pure Cocoa Powder, an everyday beverage that provides 100% cocoa nourishment, alongside other popular cocoa-based consumer products produced at our Idanre factory. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Supply Chain to lead our end-to-end supply chain strategy. In this critical leadership role, you will ensure the seamless availability of materials and products at optimal cost, fostering high customer satisfaction and supporting our rapid business expansion across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive end-to-end supply chain strategies aligned with corporate growth and profitability objectives.
- Lead demand and supply planning, strategic procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and nationwide distribution.
- Establish and drive an effective Sales and Operations Planning process to align sales forecasts, production, and supply requirements.
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to improve forecast accuracy and mitigate supply risks.
- Optimize inventory levels to minimize stock-outs and reduce holding costs for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
- Manage strategic vendor relationships, negotiate favorable commercial terms, and drive continuous cost optimization.
- Oversee warehouse operations and distribution networks to ensure timely product delivery to wholesalers, distributors, and modern trade channels.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing supply chain team focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certifications like CIPS, CSCP, or CPIM is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive supply chain experience, with at least 4 to 5 years in a senior leadership role within the FMCG, food, or beverage sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in S&OP implementation, demand planning, inventory optimization, and strategic sourcing.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems, advanced data analytics, and supply chain reporting tools.
