We are currently seeking an exceptional Head of Strategy to join our executive leadership team and steer our long-term vision, enhance portfolio performance, and maximize sustainable shareholder value in a dynamic market environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the comprehensive annual strategic planning process, aligning execution with the Group's core mission and long-term objectives.
- Evaluate investment portfolio performance alongside the TIMS team to optimize returns and mitigate operational risks.
- Provide hands-on strategic direction and deep-dive turnaround solutions for underperforming portfolio companies.
- Assess new investment opportunities, potential divestments, and macroeconomic trends impacting the Nigerian business landscape.
- Curate high-level thought leadership content for institutional stakeholders, investors, and regulatory bodies.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing internal Strategy team to foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline; an MBA or postgraduate qualification is strongly preferred.
- 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, private equity, or holding companies in Nigeria.
- Proven expertise in investment analysis, portfolio management, and corporate business turnaround strategies.
- Comprehensive understanding of Nigerian regulatory frameworks and informal financial sector dynamics.
- Exceptional financial modeling, analytical, communication, and executive-level stakeholder management skills.
