About the Role

As we expand our renewable energy footprint, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Solar Engineering to lead our solar initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead our engineering operations, ensuring that all commercial and residential solar projects are executed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and technical efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and manage the internal engineering and technical installation teams.
- Oversee end-to-end project execution, including site inspections, feasibility studies, and system design approvals.
- Ensure rigorous compliance with health, safety, and industry regulatory standards across all sites.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop competitive technical proposals and client presentations.
- Supervise testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of deployed solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, resource allocation, and reporting to the Managing Director.
- Evaluate emerging solar technologies and market trends to maintain our competitive edge in Nigeria.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in solar PV system design, installation, and project management.
- Demonstrated expertise in AutoCAD, PVSyst, and other relevant solar engineering software.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian power sector regulations, health and safety standards.
