About the Role
Lopterra is looking for a visionary and impact-driven Head of Programs to lead our strategic program portfolio, ensuring high-quality implementation, measurable outcomes, and sustainable organizational growth across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership for the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of organizational programs and projects.
- Lead the execution of program strategies, annual work plans, and operational priorities aligned with organizational goals.
- Ensure program quality, compliance, and effective monitoring, evaluation, learning, and reporting processes.
- Supervise, mentor, and provide technical guidance to program teams while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with donors, government agencies, and key stakeholders to support organizational growth.
- Identify funding opportunities, manage program risks, and represent the organization in high-level engagements.
- PhD or Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Gender Studies, Development Studies, Economics, or a related field.
- 7 to 9 years of progressive experience in program leadership and management within nonprofit or social impact organizations.
- Strong expertise in program strategy, project management, monitoring and evaluation, safeguarding, and results-based programming.
- Proven experience leading multi-sectoral programs, managing cross-functional teams, and engaging donors.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
