About the Role
Nairapoint Finance Limited is a licensed digital financial technology platform in Nigeria focused on ethical lending, investment products, and retail wealth management. We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Head of Merchant POS & Agency Banking to spearhead our merchant acquisition strategy, rapidly scale our agent distribution network, and accelerate agent transaction volumes nationwide.
Key Responsibilities- Formulate and execute aggressive strategies to acquire retail merchants, corporate business outlets, and strategic agency banking clusters.
- Onboard, deploy, and manage the life cycle of smart POS terminals and web/mobile agency banking applications to hit transaction volume goals.
- Build, structure, and maintain a highly productive network of super-agents, aggregator partners, and independent field agents nationwide.
- Monitor daily transaction liquidity, handle dispute settlements, manage agent float requirements, and optimize overall network uptime.
- Analyze market competitors, agent commission structures, and transaction pricing models to maximize Nairapoint's market share and profitability.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related commercial discipline.
- 5 to 8 years of field-driven experience in POS sales, merchant acquisition, or agency banking distribution within a fintech, commercial bank, or MMO in Nigeria.
- Verifiable track record of successfully deploying thousands of POS terminals and scaling active agent transaction volumes.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with deep knowledge of the Nigerian fintech landscape.
