About the Role
Domeo Resources International (DRI), a leading HR and Management Consultancy firm, is seeking a disciplined and experienced Chief Security Officer (CSO) to oversee safety operations at our client's premier hotel in Nigeria. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for protecting guests, employees, assets, and facilities, ensuring seamless 24-hour security coverage across all guest rooms, dining areas, conference halls, and surrounding premises.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, operational standards, and emergency response procedures.
- Lead, supervise, and mentor the security team, establishing effective duty schedules and strategic personnel deployment.
- Conduct regular security risk assessments, threat analyses, and vulnerability audits across all hotel facilities.
- Monitor and maintain the optimal operation of CCTV surveillance, access-control systems, and electronic security alarms.
- Coordinate security arrangements for VIP guests, high-profile visitors, and major corporate events.
- Investigate security breaches, theft, or incidents, submitting detailed reports and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Maintain strong working relationships and effective liaison with local law enforcement, the Police, Fire Service, and Civil Defence.
- Ensure strict compliance with applicable Nigerian security, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- HND or B.Sc. in Security Management, Criminology, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressive security experience, with substantial background in a supervisory or management capacity.
- Prior experience as a Chief Security Officer or Head of Security within the hospitality, corporate, or commercial facility sector.
- A background in military, police, paramilitary, or recognized security services is a distinct advantage.
- Strong knowledge of electronic security systems, CCTV monitoring, access control, and emergency crisis management.
