We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Operations to join our expanding team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for guaranteeing quality customer service delivery through efficient operations while ensuring strict compliance with banking policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure that all operational units are equipped with the necessary tools to work effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure all operations staff remain fully abreast of the bank's policies, procedures, and regulatory updates.
- Supervise daily operations activities, including cash handling, customer service, and funds transfer, to guarantee timely service delivery.
- Implement effective budget and cost control measures while monitoring all expense lines.
- Ensure proper documentation for all transactions and authorize transactions within designated approval limits.
- Oversee the account opening process, ensuring complete documentation, prompt scanning of account mandates, and tracking of deferred documents.
- Ensure vault physical cash matches the ledger at the close of each business day and maintain strict cash security.
- Render statutory returns to appropriate regulatory bodies accurately and on time.
- First Degree in any discipline with a minimum of Second Class Lower, or HND with Upper Credit division.
- Minimum of five years of cognate experience in banking operations.
- Relevant management professional certifications will be an added advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and precision.
- Comprehensive knowledge of banking regulations, compliance standards, and internal procedures.
