Beautiful Beginning Academy is seeking a passionate, creative, and experienced Head of Nursery to lead our Early Years section in Abuja. As our Head of Nursery, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our youngest learners, ensuring they receive a strong foundation for lifelong success.
Key Responsibilities- Provide visionary academic and administrative leadership for the entire Nursery section.
- Supervise, mentor, and support Nursery teachers to deliver exceptional early childhood education standards.
- Develop and implement engaging learning experiences that actively promote literacy, numeracy, creativity, and self-confidence.
- Monitor developmental progress to ensure age-appropriate learning outcomes for every child.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with parents through effective, transparent communication.
- Maintain a meticulously safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration.
- Collaborate closely with school management to continuously elevate teaching standards and refine the Nursery programme.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in Early Years or Nursery education, with prior leadership experience as a strong advantage.
- Exceptional classroom management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of modern child development theories and best practices in early years learning.
- Demonstrated ability to develop foundational reading and writing skills in young children.
- Possession of a valid Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification is an added advantage.
