About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of IT Services to drive our technological advancement, oversee comprehensive IT operations, and champion institutional digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy and technology roadmap aligned with the University's long-term academic and operational objectives.
- Provide strategic oversight for enterprise applications, software development, and systems integration using Microsoft .NET Framework, .NET Core, and C#.
- Manage robust IT infrastructure, cloud environments, campus networks, and ensure high availability of critical academic systems including ERP, LMS, and SIS.
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder technology projects from conception through to successful implementation, ensuring strict adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Implement rigorous cybersecurity policies, data protection frameworks, vulnerability management, and disaster recovery business continuity plans.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team while cultivating a service-oriented culture across the institution.
- Manage strategic vendor relationships, technology procurement, and departmental budgets to optimize resource allocation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive IT experience, with at least several years in a senior leadership or management capacity within complex environments.
- Strong technical expertise in enterprise software development, specifically with Microsoft .NET and C# technologies.
- Extensive background in IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and large-scale project delivery.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ITIL, PMP, PRINCE2, or advanced Microsoft/Cloud certifications are highly preferred.
