About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitizing Africa's real economy by building a robust financial ecosystem for businesses. We are currently looking for a diligent Data Entry Officer to join our dynamic team in Edo State (Oredo and Ikpoba Okha) on an outsourced and hybrid work arrangement. In this role, you will ensure that customer accounts, product catalogs, inventory records, and pricing data are accurately entered and maintained within the Moniebook platform, empowering our retail customers with a seamless experience from day one.
Key Responsibilities- Input, update, and maintain merchant data including product catalogues, SKUs, pricing, inventory levels, and customer profiles.
- Process bulk data imports from spreadsheets and CSV files, validating format and completeness before upload.
- Prepare merchant accounts ahead of onboarding by populating required product, inventory, and configuration data within agreed timelines.
- Conduct rigorous quality assurance checks to identify and correct errors, duplicates, or outdated records.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to fulfill ad-hoc data requests and resolve onboarding bottlenecks efficiently.
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in data entry, data operations, or a similar role within fintech, SaaS, or retail tech.
- Mandatory completion of NYSC or possession of a valid exemption/exclusion certificate.
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to maintain high accuracy across large data volumes.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including data cleaning and basic formulas.
- Residency in Edo State, specifically around Oredo and Ikpoba Okha.
