About the Role
Human Edge Limited, a premier human resource consulting and staffing services firm in Nigeria since 1989, is seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Finance & Accounts. In this critical leadership role, you will direct our financial and accounting operations, ensuring rigorous financial controls, accurate reporting, and alignment with our overarching business goals while managing a talented team of finance professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee comprehensive financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, bank reconciliations, and internal financial controls.
- Ensure full compliance with local regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and local GAAP.
- Lead, manage, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team to achieve high performance.
- Drive continuous process improvement and operational efficiency across all financial workflows.
- Provide strategic financial analysis, insights, and support to facilitate effective management decision-making.
- Maintain the highest standards of accuracy, financial integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Banking & Finance, or a related discipline.
- Mandatory professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or an equivalent body.
- 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- Prior experience within the trading industry is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
