About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance to provide strategic leadership for our financial operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee financial planning, fundraising, treasury, reporting, risk management, and regulatory compliance, working closely with executive management to strengthen our financial position and fuel sustainable growth across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, investment analysis, and long-term planning.
- Lead fundraising and financing initiatives by cultivating and managing relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions to secure debt and equity capital.
- Oversee treasury functions, cash flow optimization, working capital, financial reporting, cost management, and capital allocation to guarantee liquidity and profitability.
- Establish robust internal controls and ensure full compliance with statutory, tax, audit, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
- Provide strategic financial advice to the executive management team and the Board to support major expansion and investment decisions.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the finance team to consistently deliver accurate, actionable, and timely financial insights.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline; an MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a distinct advantage.
- Mandatory professional accounting qualification such as ICAN, ACA, ACCA, CPA, or an equivalent designation.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years operating in a senior finance leadership or management capacity.
- Proven finance leadership experience within FMCG, Food Processing, Manufacturing, or Agribusiness sectors, demonstrating a deep understanding of product-based business models.
