We are currently recruiting a dynamic and results-driven Head of Fashion Production to join our client's thriving fashion enterprise in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between creative design and commercial execution, ensuring every collection meets the highest standards of craftsmanship, profitability, and market readiness.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage master production timelines, schedules, and resource allocations aligned with fashion calendars, seasonal collection drops, and sales targets.
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, managing strategic relationships with fabric mills, trim suppliers, and external manufacturers while negotiating favorable costs and delivery timelines.
- Enforce stringent quality assurance (QA) protocols across pattern-making, cutting, sewing, and final finishing to protect and preserve brand integrity.
- Monitor production expenditures, track manufacturing costs, and implement innovative, cost-saving workflows without compromising garment quality.
- Provide inspiring leadership and supervision to internal production teams, including tailors, pattern makers, embellishers, and floor supervisors.
- Collaborate closely with creative designers, merchandising teams, and sales departments to seamlessly translate creative concepts into commercially viable pieces.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels for raw materials and finished goods while ensuring strict compliance with local health, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Production, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of proven experience in fashion production management, garment manufacturing, or apparel supply chain within the Nigerian or global fashion industry.
- Deep technical knowledge of garment construction, pattern-making, textiles, and modern manufacturing machinery.
- Exceptional negotiation, vendor management, and financial budgeting skills.
- Strong leadership capability with a proven track record of managing and mentoring diverse production floor teams.
