District 9 Branded Residences (Velmonti Palace), Abuja's upcoming landmark ultra-luxury destination, is opening its doors for world-class hospitality talent! We are currently seeking professional and charismatic Bellmen to provide an exceptional first impression for our esteemed guests. In this role, you will embody the pinnacle of Nigerian and international luxury service, ensuring every resident and visitor receives a warm, personalized, and seamless welcome from the moment they arrive at our prestigious property.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and welcome all guests, residents, and visitors with utmost courtesy, professionalism, and warmth upon arrival.
- Manage luggage handling, including transporting bags to and from guest rooms, vehicles, and storage areas with care and efficiency.
- Provide comprehensive information regarding hotel and residence amenities, local attractions, transportation options, and events in Abuja.
- Coordinate with the valet, front desk, and concierge teams to ensure smooth and timely guest arrivals and departures.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderly appearance of the main entrance, lobby, bell desk, and luggage storage areas.
- Assist guests with special requests, errands, and inquiries, maintaining high standards of discretion and customer service at all times.
- Possess relevant academic qualifications, with a diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field being an added advantage.
- Proven previous experience working as a Bellman, Porter, or in a similar guest-facing hospitality role, preferably within a luxury hotel or branded residence setting.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with a polished and professional personal presentation.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift, carry, and handle heavy luggage and packages.
- Strong situational awareness, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to anticipating guest needs.
- Familiarity with Abuja and top-tier local attractions is a distinct advantage.
