Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic planning and delivery of English and School Education programmes in alignment with global corporate objectives and local educational needs.
  • Drive business development efforts by identifying new funding opportunities, contributing to technical proposal writing, and managing client relationships.
  • Mentor, manage, and build the capacity of the English and School Education team, ensuring adherence to British Council standards.
  • Build and maintain robust stakeholder networks with government partners, educational institutions, and international donors.
  • Oversee financial management, income and expenditure accounts, and robust monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks.
  • Embed evidence-informed principles of English language teaching, teacher development, and edtech integration into project designs.
Qualifications
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field such as Education or English Language Teaching (e.g., Diploma ELT or TEFL-Q).
  • Recognized English language teaching qualification with proven expertise in teacher education methodologies.
  • Extensive experience managing externally funded education projects and pursuing client-funded contracts.
  • Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement across diverse sectors including government officials, donors, and academics.
  • Desirable attributes include project management certification and experience managing online teacher education initiatives.
