About the Role
Strivo Labs is looking for a dynamic Head of Engineering to lead our engineering function and drive the successful delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing technology products. In this hands-on leadership role, you will define our technical strategy, mentor talented engineers, and partner with executive leadership to translate business goals into reliable digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, manage, and mentor engineering teams across multiple projects and product areas.
- Own the end-to-end delivery of major engineering projects from architecture to deployment.
- Define and execute the engineering strategy in alignment with business and product objectives.
- Establish rigorous engineering standards, best practices, and delivery methodologies.
- Challenge unrealistic timelines and technical decisions, providing practical alternatives.
- Oversee system architecture, code quality, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Operations to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Manage technical risks, security compliance, and regulatory requirements, particularly within fintech or regulated environments.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with significant engineering leadership tenure.
- Proven background in owning and delivering complex technology products to production.
- Strong expertise in software architecture, APIs, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and system scalability.
- Experience working in fintech, payments, banking, or other highly regulated environments is highly desirable.
