We are currently seeking a dynamic and talented Design Engineer to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in driving our HVAC business forward by delivering exceptional technical designs, supporting major commercial projects, and building lasting relationships with industry partners and consultants.
Key Responsibilities- Develop advanced air-conditioning system designs using specialized LG software such as LATSCAD and LATSHVAC, alongside AutoCAD.
- Prepare comprehensive technical drawings and accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for customers and project partners.
- Conduct professional training sessions for consultants, engineers, and contractors on LG HVAC solutions and design software.
- Support the specification of LG systems in new projects and register business opportunities within the relevant BRM systems.
- Participate in crucial design review meetings to provide expert technical recommendations and drive project success.
- Contribute actively to Eco Solutions marketing initiatives, technical seminars, and new product introduction (NPI) updates.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC system design, engineering, or technical support roles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, with working knowledge of Revit considered a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering drawings and prepare detailed Bills of Quantities.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with fluency in English.
