About the Role
Nairapoint Finance Limited is a licensed digital financial technology platform in Nigeria focused on ethical lending, investment products, and retail wealth management. Officially launched in December 2025 at the Ikoyi Golf Club, Lagos, our platform was established by Nigerian entrepreneur Mrs. Funke Otti alongside Vice Chairman Dr. Mohammed K. Santuraki to deepen financial inclusion for individuals and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). We are currently seeking a high-performing, target-driven Head of Business Development to lead our growth strategy, expand our market footprint, and drive sustainable revenue.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to meet aggressive revenue, deposit mobilization, and loan portfolio targets.
- Drive aggressive deposit mobilization by securing High Net Worth Individuals (HNIs), corporate clients, and institutional investors.
- Grow the risk asset portfolio by structuring and pitching tailored loan packages to creditworthy SMEs and salary earners.
- Build and manage high-level strategic relationships with merchants, corporate partners, and key players within the Nigerian tech ecosystem.
- Lead, mentor, and track the monthly performance of the business development and sales teams to ensure optimal productivity.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 7 to 10 years of proven experience in business development within a licensed Fintech, Microfinance Bank, or Finance House in Nigeria.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting ambitious sales targets, mobilizing substantial deposits, and growing profitable loan books.
- Deep understanding of the Nigerian financial ecosystem, retail credit assessment processes, and current CBN regulations.
- Exceptional negotiation, relationship management, and team leadership capabilities.
