About the Role
White Crust Limited is seeking a visionary and results-driven Head of Architecture to lead our architectural functions and oversee innovative real estate development projects from concept to completion. In this strategic leadership role, you will ensure all developments meet our rigorous quality standards, budgetary constraints, and regulatory timelines while driving design excellence across our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee all architectural activities, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business strategy and development goals.
- Review, approve, and maintain the highest quality standards for all architectural concepts, designs, and construction documentation.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian building codes, urban planning regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to internal architectural teams, site architects, and external design consultants.
- Collaborate seamlessly with structural, mechanical, electrical, and project management teams to optimize project delivery.
- Conduct value engineering exercises and design reviews to maximize functionality, cost-efficiency, and aesthetic appeal.
- Manage external stakeholder relationships, regulatory authorities, contractors, and executive reporting.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture (B.Sc, B.Tech, or M.Sc).
- Mandatory registration with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON).
- Active membership in the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) is an advantage.
- 8 to 10 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or managerial capacity.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
- Advanced proficiency in industry-standard design software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, and SketchUp.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian building regulations, planning approval processes, and construction methodologies.
