About the Role
Caring Habitat is a premier 40-bed rehabilitation center dedicated to transitioning patients from dependent to independent living. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Head Nurse to lead our nursing department, oversee clinical operations, and foster a compassionate, high-standard work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide visionary leadership to the nursing team, including Matron, Charge Nurses, Registered Nurses, and Nursing Assistants.
- Develop, implement, and monitor adherence to nursing policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals including physicians, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists to ensure seamless patient care.
- Manage recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations for the nursing staff.
- Oversee resource allocation, including medical supplies, equipment, and budgetary constraints.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives, conduct audits, and ensure strict compliance with healthcare regulations and patient safety standards.
- Act as a key liaison between the nursing department and hospital administration.
- Postgraduate degree in Nursing or a closely related field.
- Valid and current Nursing License (RN or equivalent).
- Minimum of 15 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven background in rehabilitative care.
- Exceptional communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Competitive monthly net salary of N500,000.
