We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Head, Medical Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership for our medical team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective, and member-centered healthcare solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide visionary strategic leadership for the medical operations function while overseeing overall service delivery and clinical quality.
- Lead comprehensive medical utilization management, clinical oversight activities, and monitor medical cost trends.
- Establish, monitor, and enforce rigorous clinical and operational standards across all service channels.
- Collaborate strategically with our provider networks to continuously improve service quality and member outcomes.
- Provide expert clinical guidance on complex medical cases and operational escalations.
- Partner closely with executive management to align medical operations with corporate growth strategies.
- Ensure total compliance with applicable regulatory, professional, and organizational standards.
- Mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing medical operations team.
- Must be a qualified Medical Doctor with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Must possess a valid practicing license and registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Demonstrated progressive leadership experience within the healthcare management, HMO, or health insurance sector.
- Strong expertise in managed care, utilization review, and clinical governance.
