About the Role
St. Cyprian Modern Schools is a leading private educational institution located in Court Area Agubia, Ikwo Local Government Area, Ebonyi State, Nigeria. We are recruiting an experienced and visionary Head Master/Mistress to provide strategic leadership and academic direction across our Nursery, Primary, and Secondary education programs.
As Head Master/Mistress, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall management, administration, and academic excellence of our institution. You will drive institutional policies, mentor teaching staff, ensure quality assurance, and foster a positive learning environment that nurtures student development and achievement.
Key Responsibilities- Provide educational leadership and strategic direction for all school levels
- Oversee curriculum implementation and academic standards
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and professional development
- Ensure compliance with educational regulations and best practices
- Supervise student discipline and welfare programs
- Manage school finances and resources effectively
- Maintain strong relationships with parents, guardians, and the community
- Monitor institutional performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.ED, B.S.ED) or Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Nursery and Primary school administration
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of Nigerian educational policies and standards
