About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited acts as a gateway to provide a wide range of recruitment and selection services to companies. We are currently seeking a strategic and results-driven Head, Human Resources to oversee our human capital operations and support our organizational growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate comprehensive recruitment, selection, appointment, confirmation, termination, and resignation procedures.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, new employee orientation, and continuous employee communication programs.
- Conduct job evaluations, draft and review job descriptions, and manage organizational remuneration structures and budgets.
- Drive the performance management process, ensuring effective appraisals and monitoring of work results.
- Conduct training needs analysis and institutionalize structured human capital development initiatives.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable Nigerian labor laws, legal requirements, and occupational health and safety standards.
- Advise management and staff on HR policy matters, employee benefits administration, and career progression opportunities.
- HND, B.Sc, or BA in a relevant discipline; professional certifications such as CIPM are strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional work experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership HR role within the manufacturing industry.
- Deep familiarity with Nigerian labor acts, HR conventions, and structured manufacturing HR systems.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, high integrity, target-oriented mindset, and strong attention to detail.
