About the Role

Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitising Africa’s real economy by building a comprehensive financial ecosystem for businesses. We are currently looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Head, Group FP&A to architect and own our Group-level financial planning, forecasting frameworks, and reporting standards across all subsidiaries including Moniepoint Nigeria, Moniepoint Kenya, MonieWorld, and Moniepoint Technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and own the comprehensive Group FP&A framework, forecasting architecture, budget process, and management-reporting standards.
  • Consolidate multi-entity, multi-currency forecasts, P&L, balance sheets, and cash flows with intercompany eliminations.
  • Lead the annual Group budget calendar and manage the production of consolidated long-term forecasts reconciled monthly to actuals.
  • Collaborate closely with the Group Financial Controller and Business Unit CFOs to maintain accurate financial reconciliations and reporting schedules.
  • Drive scenario and sensitivity modelling for key strategic decisions such as capital raises, licence applications, and new market expansions.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop Group FP&A analysts covering shared services and unrepresented markets.

Qualifications
  • 8 to 10+ years of robust experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking, with a proven track record in building forecasting frameworks.
  • Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent.
  • Advanced financial modelling expertise with extensive multi-entity and multi-currency consolidation experience.
  • Background within high-growth fintech, banking, or other regulated, fast-paced environments.
  • Exceptional remote leadership abilities, clear written communication skills, and strong cross-functional stakeholder management.
