About the Role

Bridgemead Consulting is seeking a strategic and analytical Head, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our client's dynamic group operations in Nigeria. As the foremost authority on financial intelligence, you will transform data from steel, mining, and energy subsidiaries into actionable management insights. This pivotal leadership role shapes high-level commercial decisions, drives long-term strategic planning, and ensures financial accountability across the entire group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Group's 3-5 year strategic financial plans, annual budgets, and rolling forecasts across diverse industrial subsidiaries.
  • Produce comprehensive monthly management and Board reporting packs with deep financial and operational insights.
  • Develop robust scenario planning, sensitivity models, and investment appraisals using DCF, NPV, and IRR methodologies.
  • Monitor macroeconomic, FX, and commodity trends to assess financial impacts on revenue, costs, and profit margins.
  • Drive digital transformation in FP&A by implementing advanced forecasting tools and business intelligence dashboards like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Manage, mentor, and elevate the performance of the group FP&A and business intelligence team.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Engineering with a minimum of Second Class Upper; MBA or Master's degree is strongly preferred.
  • Professional certification such as CFA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (CFA is a distinct advantage).
  • 12 to 16 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Sector experience in steel, mining, energy, manufacturing, or a complex multi-subsidiary holding company structure.
  • Advanced financial modeling expertise and proficiency with enterprise FP&A software such as Anaplan, Hyperion, or Adaptive Insights.
