About the Role
Proforce Limited is a global leader in defence solutions and armored vehicle manufacturing, dedicated to delivering confidence in protective mobility across Nigeria and Africa. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Finance and Accounts to lead our financial operations and provide strategic financial guidance to executive management.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, cash-flow projections, and comprehensive management accounts.
- Establish robust internal financial controls to safeguard company assets, mitigate financial risks, and prevent leakage.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings and seamless liaison with tax authorities and financial institutions.
- Manage accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, inventory, and fixed asset accounting.
- Provide strategic financial analysis and actionable insights to support procurement, production, and business expansion decisions.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the Finance and Accounts team to ensure high productivity and adherence to reporting deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Mandatory professional accounting certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CPA.
- Minimum of 8 to 12 years of relevant financial management experience, preferably within a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, accounting software, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated expertise in Nigerian tax laws, financial reporting standards, statutory compliance, and cost accounting.
