About the Role
Dragnet Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Family Medicine/GP for our operations in Mosimi. In this vital leadership role, you will provide comprehensive clinical and administrative direction for the family medicine and internal medicine department, ensuring exceptional standards of patient-centred care across all services.
Key Responsibilities- Set, maintain, and audit standards of clinical care, patient safety, and governance across the department.
- Organise medical staffing, rotas, clinics, and ward cover to guarantee seamless continuity of care.
- Lead the diagnosis and management of complex cases, offering expert clinical decision-making and referral oversight.
- Supervise, mentor, appraise, and foster the professional development of medical officers and trainees.
- Collaborate effectively with diagnostics, pharmacy, nursing, and HMO/managed-care processes.
- Contribute actively to service planning, resource allocation, and quality-improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or MBChB) from a recognised institution.
- A registrable postgraduate specialist qualification (Fellowship) in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of post-fellowship specialist experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical governance, quality assurance, audit, and medical staff supervision.
