About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic professional to join our prestigious financial institution as the Head, Corporate Services. In this vital leadership role, you will provide comprehensive strategic and operational direction for the bank's corporate support functions, ensuring seamless administration, procurement, facilities management, asset management, and shared services delivery. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency, cost optimization, and implementing robust policies that align with our institutional objectives in Nigeria's dynamic financial sector.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies, policies, and procedures for effective corporate services delivery across the bank.
- Oversee daily administration, procurement, facilities, asset management, logistics, and essential support services.
- Ensure the optimal management, safety, and maintenance of all bank facilities and physical assets.
- Drive aggressive cost optimization and ensure maximum value for money in the procurement of goods and services.
- Manage strategic vendor and service provider relationships while ensuring rigorous contract administration.
- Develop, monitor, and manage the annual Corporate Services budget to guarantee efficient resource utilization.
- Ensure strict compliance with approved internal policies, statutory regulations, and relevant industry standards.
- Identify operational and administrative risks proactively and implement effective mitigation measures.
- Lead process improvement and operational excellence initiatives across all corporate support departments.
- Mentor, supervise, and develop a high-performing Corporate Services team to foster a culture of excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
- A relevant professional certification in Administration, Procurement, or Facilities Management is a distinct advantage.
- Possession of a Master's degree will be considered an added advantage.
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant experience, with at least several years in a senior or managerial corporate services role.
- Prior working experience in banking, microfinance, fintech, or other highly regulated Nigerian organizations.
- Proven expertise in multi-faceted administration, strategic procurement, facilities oversight, and vendor management.
